Francois, Denise
Denise Francois, a resident of Port au Prince, Haiti, died at her granddaughter’s home in Roslindale on Friday, July 30, 2010. She was 87. Denise was born August 1, 1922 in Port au Prince, Haiti, the daughterof Rene Lebours and Harriet Francois. Ms Francois is survived by her daughter, Micheline Alexis of Roslindale; her step-daughter Marlene Barlatier of Hyde Park; her grandchildren, Malroy Geneus, and her husband Jackson, of Roslindale, Nadege Alexis of New York, and Chenet Alexis of Roslindale; her great grandchildren, Medgie and Jaren Geneus; and her cousins, Pierre Firmin Destin, martine Lamartine Destin, Michelle Alexis, Fenide Jean Baptiste, Solange Destin, and her husband Martin, and Hugues Denis. Visiting hours will be held Friday, August 6th from 5-8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 63 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale. Relatives and friends will gather Saturday morning at 9 AM at the Funeral Home and proceed to Sacred Heart Church, 169 Cummins Highway for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 o clock. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Roslindale.
