Paul Francis Sheehan, a resident of Norwood, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 16, 2025 with his devoted wife Dolores by his side. He was 89. Paul was born December 10, 1935 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Joseph and Mary (McNeil) Sheehan. He proudly served his country in the US Army, enlisting as a young man and serving three years overseas before being honorably discharged in 1959. Paul enjoyed films and had encyclopedic knowledge of film trivia. He was also a renowned football prognosticator whose predictions were often stunningly accurate. His life was marked by his deep love for his family, his commitment to his country, and his vibrant personality. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Paul is survived by his wife Dolores (Blasi) and their four children, Linda Sheehan, and her husband Wayne Wiebe, Brian Sheehan, and his wife Margaret, Laurie Sheehan, and Devyn Stinnett, and husband John. He was the proud grandfather of Adam, Madeleine, Bailey, Mackenzie, Kennedy, Brady, Elis, and Antonio. Paul was predeceased by his sisters Mary and Nancy, and his brother Donald. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Folsom & May Funeral Home, 85 Nichols Street, Norwood followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11 o clock. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park Canton. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Lung Association of MA, 1661 Worcester Road, #310, Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.

Oh Paul – I’m going to miss talking with you, at least once a year on your birthday, so glad we had a chance last year. Rest peacefully, love you.
I have such great memories of being in the Sheehan house all thru high school and Mr. Sheehan was always so welcoming to all of us. Rest in Peace Mr. Sheehan.
Over the many years of family gatherings we always appreciated your presence. All the love of the Blasi’s, myself, Jean, Michelle, Angela, and Heather.
