Bayer, Thomas A.
Thomas Albert Bayer, a resident of Newark, Delaware, and formerly of Norwood, died Christmas Day, 2024 at the Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, Delaware. He was 69. Thomas was born October 13, 1955 in Mineola, New York, the youngest of the three sons of Joseph Frank and Grace Edith (Meyenberg) Bayer. Tom retired from the Foxboro Company after 27 years at a job that he loved. He was honored by Grace Episcopal Church in Norwood where he served as an Acolyte for 30 years. Tom loved his large family and the many friends he made in Massachusetts and Delaware. He will be sadly missed by that family which included his two brothers, Joseph F. Bayer Jr., and Richard H. Bayer, and his wife Dana; his sister, Virginia A. Heil, and her husband Jeff; and 26 nieces and nephews spread across 8 states. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service Thursday at 1 pm at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
