Phyllis Marie (Pace) Watson, a resident of Dedham, died Thursday, January 2, 2025 at her home in Dedham. She was 87. Phyllis was born February 8, 1937 in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the five children of Anthony and Frances (Ciulla) Pace. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Boston and worked as a manager for the payroll servicing company ADP. Phyllis enjoyed doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and could frequently be found at Encor, Plainridge, and Twin River casinos. Phyllis was the wife of the late Walter Richard Watson who predeceased her in 2005 and the sister of the late Anthony Pace and the late Catherine Smith. She is survived by her son, Stephen Watson of Abington; her two daughters, Christine Trudeau of New Bedford, and Jeanne dela Cruz of Waltham; her brothers, Joseph Pace of Yarmouthport, and James Pace of Kentucky; her four grandchildren, Renee Watson, Joseph Touchette III, Nicole Ortiz, and Kristin Clark; and her five great grandchildren, Nicholas Santilli, George Ortiz III, Olivia Ortiz, Sebastian Clark, and Isaac Clark. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 7th from 11 am to noon at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Interment will be private.
