Edwina, such an extraordinary woman! Artist, Dancer;
Passionate & inspiring! There’s much I don’t know about her life , but she was much loved & respected at The Plymouth Center for the Arts and her students were blessed to have her as their instructor & friend! ♥️
Such sad news of the passing of Edwina. She was a force and a mentor to so many artists! My encounters with her were always humorous with her wit and charm! Her talent was beyond what most of us could ever paint! God bless her on her new journey! She will be so sadly missed!
Edwina was certainly a character as well as a gifted artist. I took several classes with her at PCA and thoroughly enjoyed them. Gave her a black belly dancing hip scarf with silver bangles and she promptly tied it on and gave our class a few shakes that garnered joyful applause. She is and will be missed.
Edwina was a wonderful person and gifted artist. Her personality and character were special. I loved working with her at the Plymouth Centr for the Arts. She has been missed in our community. Rest in peace.
Edwina Caci- a strong presence in Plymouth art scene, an excellent portrait artist and teacher, will be missed. Once I tried to draw her portrait but she didn’t want to be painted. Perhaps now I can make her forever young.
Edwina was a delight to know, both for her talent and her personality. I had the pleasure of volunteering at the Plymouth Center for the Arts during the time slot when she was teaching a class. Her students all flourished under her guidance. The classes became “family” and continue to demonstrate their skill and eye for art. Edwina’s passing leaves a big hole in so many hearts.
I will miss Edwina. She was such an inspiring artist and teacher. I was blessed to take an art class with her and to write an ekphrastic poem about one of her paintings (In Tune with Picasso) for Poetry the Art of Words (PTAOW) in Plymouth.
A real lady… Fabulous artist… Generous in her art and always glad to teach.
Always smiling.
Loved teaching, dancing, life…
Generous with her attention, advice, humor, laughter.
She will be so missed!
