Reaves, Carolann
Carolann Reaves, a lifelong resident of Dedham, died Thursday, may 2, 2024 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington after aa brief illness. She was 86. Carolann was born October 18, 1937 in Dedham, the only child of Donald Scott and Florence J. (Bemis) Reaves. She graduated from Dedham High School and worked as a nursing instructor. Private interment was in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.

My sincerest condolences on the passing of Carolann. She was a cousin who we met through a shared interest in our Scott ancestry and travelled through Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Scotland together. She had a great interest in learning more about her Scottish and Canadian roots, which we enthusiastically shared. I will continue to treasure the memories and appreciate her efforts to share family artifacts and pictures to help paint a wider picture of the 10 generation journey of family from Scotland. Although we lost contact two years ago when my letters were returned by the postal service, I would appreciate making contact with the person handing her arrangements if possible. Godspeed Carolann.
