Foye, Frank R.
Frank Richard Foye of Norwood, age 74, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born in Boston where he lived for several years before moving to Hull, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late Daniel and Marion Foye, and
brother of the late Winifred (Dolly) Tirrell, Marie Jakubajtys, and Daniel (Sonny) Foye Jr. He had many nieces and nephews.
He was a 1968 graduate of Hull High School and later earned a degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts- Amherst in 1972.
He is survived by the love of his life, Beverly Foye. They recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on November 2, 2023. Frank always believed they should ‘cherish each day together’.
Frank’s greatest joy was his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Kerry Silva, Kristy Foye & Katey Chambers as well as his son-in-laws, Michael Silva & Colin Chambers and his grandchildren, who he adored, Emma Grace Silva, Riley Frankie Chambers & Griffin Aiden Chambers.
Frank loved spending time with people, whether it be his family, friends or volunteering his time to help others. He was an animated storyteller, with a great sense of humor. He loved making people laugh. Frank was also a devoted fan of Elvis Presley. In his 30’s, he began to find his singing voice in church, which started his path into singing more professionally as part of a few cover bands and later becoming the “Singing DJ” for weddings (including for each of his daughters’). His friends and family will likely never be able to hear an Elvis song again without thinking of him. Frank’s favorite time of the year was during the summer months; he would often spend each weekend driving the ‘tour’ around Nantasket Beach. He loved to park by the “Gut” next to Hull High School and look out onto the ocean. His family knows he is at peace now in heaven.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11 am at the Trinity Community Church, 234 Walpole Street, Norwood.

Frank was the best. From an encyclopedia of music knowledge, to a wannabe poker card shark, his presence in a room could be felt as the jolly giant he was. I’ll cherish the memories. Hope to see you again Godfather

Don and I met Bev and Frank when he was transferred to Peoria, Illinois for his work. We became best of friends and even though they were in Peoria less than 2 years, we stayed in touch on and off over the years! Seeing them or talking on the phone was like seeing your neighbor! Didn’t matter how much time passed, we just slid back into the friendship! We loved Frank and know he is singing and having fun in Heaven! Enjoy Frank! We love you.
