Erik Rhoades Anderson a longtime resident of Charlestown, Massachusetts died Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the Mass General Hospital in Boston. Erik was the son of Francis Edward and Winifred (Van Horsen) Anderson. He worked as a Professional Photographer for the Arthur D. Little Company. Friends are invited to attend his graveside service Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 11 am at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellesley.

Erik was a great neighbor always taking care of the flowers in the neighborhood. He was an avid gardener and always nice to talk to!
Erik was an active, concerned, citizen of Charleston. He was always ready to speak about the issues of the community. The encroachment of billboards on our streets and in our neighborhood was a constant concern. I will miss his easy manner and his friendly smile.
Eric’s love for nature was so appreciated by all of his neighbors on Washington St in Charlestown. He worked tiressly to create a beautiful woodland garden on his plot of land. Thank you Eric you will be missed
I am sad to learn of Erik’s passing. I always enjoyed his fun-loving spirit. Rest in peace, Erik.
He was my childhood friend. His parents and mine were best friends.
