Fucillo, John A. “Junebug”
John Anthony Fucillo, a resident of Dedham, and formerly of Roxbury and Hyde Park, died Thursday, December 15, 2022 a the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Milton. He was 88. John was born August 13, 1934 in Boston, Massachusetts a son of John and Filomena (Marrotta) Fucillo. He worked as self employed truck driver delivering movies and supplies to local theaters. John was a member of the West Roxbury Knights of Columbus and coached Park League football teams. He enjoyed watching Boston Sports teams and hosting cookouts. John is survived by his wife, Jean Louise (Fitzgerald) Fucillo; his two daughters, Christine M. Sullivan, and her husband Lawrence, of Dedham, and Karen L. Thomas, and her husband Jack, of Canton; his two grandsons, Daniel Sullivan, and his wife Caitlin, of Norton, and Matthew Sullivan, and his wife Casey, of Somerset; his great granddaughter, Keira Sullivan; and his brother William Fucillo, and his wife Carol, of Canton. He was the brother of the late Michael Fucillo, and his late wife Blanche. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, December 21st, from 9 to 10:30 am at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham followed by his funeral mass in St. Anne’s Church, 82 West Milton Street, Readville at 11 o clock. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
I will miss and cherish the fun times Junie all the pool parties and movie nights Mom and Dad (joe and Barbara ) loved you very much! I’m so sorry Karen amd Chris and Billy

My sincerest condolences to all of you. He was a great and funny guy. I have so many great memories of him hosting his summer cook outs. He will be greatly missed.
Such memories growing up with all of my Dads friends…I truly cherished all of them. The cookouts were always so fun and everyone always attended. The friendships my dad had with all of “the pack” he cherished. He always spoke fondly and always looked forward to future meetings. His friendships taught me a lot over the years. Junebugs bright smile will always be remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you❤️ Kim
