Sleeman, Andrew P.
Andrew Patrick Sleeman, age 2, of Norwood, passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2022. Andrew was born on August 25, 2020 to Joseph Sleeman and Karen MacKenzie-Sleeman. He loved dogs, exploring nature, reading books, and most especially, trying to keep up with his big brothers. Andrew attended First Congregational Church in Norwood where he was known for his beautiful, ever present smile. He also could be found walking his brothers to and from school and waving to all the school buses, trash trucks, and construction vehicles that drove by. It was impossible to be in Andrew’s presence and not be happy.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Joe and Karen, big brothers JJ, Tommy, and Ryan Sleeman, grandparents Shirley MacKenzie of Methuen, MA, Joanne and Mark Preston of Dunnellon, FL, and Joe and Anne Sleeman of Vero Beach, FL, his MacKenzie and Latraverse aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many wonderful neighbors and friends. Andrew was predeceased by his Gramps, Bill MacKenzie, who is undoubtedly building elaborate train sets for him to play with in heaven.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 4 to 6 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Andrew’s funeral Wednesday at 10 am at the First Congregational Church, 100 Winter Street, Norwood. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Andrew’s honor to the Animal Rescue League, 55 Anna’s Place, Dedham, MA 02026 would be appreciated

To Andrew’s Family
Even though I didn’t get a chance to be Andrews teacher, I did get to see him everyday and hang in his classroom first thing in the morning from time to time. His smile always lit up his face and the faces of those around him. He was a very sweet boy that I know liked to play dinosaurs and I did know he was a fan of Paw Patrol. Even though he was only a part of our Kinderbook community for a short amount of time, he made an impact on all of us. You all have my deepest condolences and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Ms. Erica Hubert – Kinderbook Pre-K Teacher
