Evelyn Frances (Wilson) Hudson, a longtime resident of Dedham, died Monday, April 25, 2022 at her home in Dedham. She was 76. Evelyn was born May 24, 1945 in Everett, Massachusetts, one of the four children of Robert Harvey and Mary Agnes (Keenan) Wilson. During the pre-computer age Evelyn worked as a filing clerk at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She enjoyed knitting, reading on her kindle, and classic television shows. Evelyn was the wife of the late Paul J. Hudson and the mother of the late Paul J. Hudson. She is survived by two sons, Richard H. Taylor of Dedham, and Barry Taylor of Hyde Park; her brother, Robert Wilson of Florida; two sisters, Mary Wilson of Westwood and Elizabeth Marquis of Canton; as well as seven grandchildren and one great grandson. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, April 28th from 3 to 7 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Relatives and friends are invite to gather at the funeral home Friday starting at 9 am and proceed with us to St Mary’s Church, 420 High Street, Dedham for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 o clock. After cremation, private interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.

Rest in peace Aunty Evelyn I’ll never forget summer’s at your house or watering the apple tree that never grew from the apple seeds you showed us how to plant. I’ll miss you and your rice krispee treats you made for us.
