She was a bright light in our family. Always smiling and always taking the side of the children.. She was loving kind and very very sweet I have many wonderful memories of her as a Child. She is home with my Mom and Dad sharing stories I am sure. Rest in peace Auntie
Loved her spirit and zest for life. A wonderful auntie! I didn’t mean to take all those St. Josephs when I slept over your house as a kid!
Love to you

Of all my aunts, Auntie Athena was the one I had spent the most time with. During my childhood, I spent many summers in Humarock with her and my young cousins at the time….Susan, Karen and Billy. As an adult living in Florida, I got to spend time with her during her seasonal stays in Naples.
Those times together fostered a very special relationship based on respect for each other and therefore Trust between us.
Auntie Athena radiated with love, kindness, and always a positive attitude. She always ended a phone conversation with me by saying “I Love You” in Greek!
Auntie Athena, I Love you and thank you for all the Happy Memories
So sorry for your loss ! Karen, I love you
Karen, I’m truly sorry for you and your family’s loss of your mom.
What I knew of your mom she was a shining light and a beautiful woman. I never saw her without a smile and she had a lot of love to give. She will be your guardian angel for all of you.
Lots and lots of prayers and love .
So sorry! I worked with athena at the town hall! Very nice lady! Godbless!
I just learned of Ethel’s passing. She was my Mom’s first cousin. She, along with her sister Nellie and brother Socrates, visited my Mom in NYC 6 years ago. Her Father was the brother of my Mom’s Mother. I’m sorry we didn’t keep in touch with one another. May she Rest In Peace.
